About the scholarship: The Korea Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) is offered to international students who wish to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees from Korean universities. The scholarship aims to provide international students with the opportunity to pursue advanced studies at institutions of higher education in Korea, develop world leaders, and strengthen Korean friendly networks around the world.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the Korean Government Scholarship:

Selection process:
Korean Government Scholarship Selection Procedure
First option: Applicants submit their applications to Korean embassies around the world or to participating universities in Korea. The embassies and universities select the selected candidates from the candidates of the first selection round. Applicants for selected candidates will be sent to NIIED
Second option: The NIIED selection committee selects the selected candidates from those who passed the first round.
Third Selection: Among the selected candidates who passed the second round, universities will review applicants’ applications through Korean embassies for admission. Successful candidates must obtain admission from at least one of the universities.
Duration:
One-year Korean language course + two-year university degree
One-year Korean language course + 4-year Bachelor’s degree
Korean language course for one year + two years for master’s degree
Korean language course for 1 year + 3 years for PhD
To be admitted to: Korean universities.
